One more down! -- make that 2 down
I'm not any faster than last week, in fact I think I'm slowing down. Maybe I went so slow because I just love the subject. My beautiful Kelsey.
This was created using Joyce Paul's beautiful purple PH Awareness Kit.

Actually I can't believe it myself...It has been 2 complete days since I last freebie hunted. As a reward I let myself go to IkeaGoddess blog and .... I looked through the past two days worth of freebies and ..... I DIDN'T DOWNLOAD A THING!!! WOOHOO!!! I think I might be getting a handle on this obsession of mine. What'da ya think?

Ooooo, Christmasy!!
I've got to be the world's slowest scrapper! This took me the better part of several hours to complete (and I totally scraplifted it!). Imagine how friggin' long it would take if I had nothing to lift from or if I had no template. I guess speed will come eventually. Anyway, it might have taken a long time but I think it is pretty!

Sweet Shoppe Cookies 4 Kids
I love the digiscrap community. It is made up of so many caring people. It totally makes me proud to be part of it. Over at the Sweet Shoppe they packaged up a HUGE set of templates to raise money for Toys for Tots. They are so clever, it's called "Cookies 4 Kids" (cute huh?). 100% of the proceeds goes to Toys for Tots! But Cookies 4 Kids will only be available until December 15th. For $10 bucks you not only get a huge selection of templates but you are also helping make a happy Christmas for an underprivileged child. And that is priceless!! So, hurry up and get it while you can! Here is a quick peek:

WOOT! WOOT!! Check this out!!!! :o)
These are my first LOs as a member of a CT!!! YAY!! Joyce Paul asked me to be on her creative team!!! WOW, can you believe it?! I'm just a little excited! LOL!! I don't want to let her down. She does beautiful work. I hope I will do her creations justice. She doesn't have a blinkie (I'm going to have to talk to her about that). But she does have two shops, one at Divine Digital and the other ZigZagScrap. Go check out her stuff. You won't be disappointed!

More Scrap Pages ... Someone Pinch Me!!
OUCH!! I guess it's not a dream. I really am a Scraper!! Don't get me wrong, I still love a good freebie. It's just that I don't feel compelled to search the entire WWW to get every last one. I still hunt but only for about 30 minutes a day. Hey, I've even skipped a couple of days all together! LOL
K, so here are a couple more challenge entries I've completed:
This first one is for ScrapBookElements' Book of Me Challenge. I used the papers they (SAXTON HOLT & MICROFERK DESIGNS) provided. The rest of the stuff came from Akiloune - Angel Breeze and Catherine Designs - PeleMele Vintage.
(Believe it or not I am just as sweet now as I was then. Really I am!) LOL
I've become a pretty good scraplifter (if I do say so myself). Credits for this LO go to:
CatherineDesigns - PeleMele Black & Cream and Lori Barnhurst - InstantlyWornOvrLay.
Oh, and the original LO was lifted from Niiki. You can see her's here if you'd like.

Getting over the "Freebie" thing!?!
YAY! I'm starting to get over the "Freebie" thing. I'm actually scrapping!! YAY ME!!
I've been frequenting After5Designs lately. They have some really fabulous designers there. And their CTs are phenomenal! OMG If only I could scrap like those ladies!
So anyway, I've been doing the challenges over there and having a great time doing it too. I love looking through the gallery at all the amazing layouts. They are so inspiring. They make a little voice in me say "forget the freebies, go scraplift that beautiful page!"
********
This was a NDSD Challenge. I was supposed to use this mug as part of my layout. I had other ideas but I thought this would be original. It was fun. Although you can't tell, I liquefied the "froth" in my mug. Credits go to: Credits to: Janelle Gustafson CafeJ - DigiDayLatte, Amy Hutchinson - Bottoms Up & Berry Me in the Sand, Crissy Armstrong - Happy Hour, Martencja Designs - Magic of Snowflakes, LilyDesigns - Cute as a Button and Bethany's Elegant WordArt
This was a NDSD Challenge too. I used products from LilyDesigns - Cute as a Button & Angel
I visited Elemental Scraps and tried to join their "Bits & Pieces" challenge but they won't activate my account. I downloaded this kit from the site it is by Amanda Geils and is called Sweet Breeze. This is what I would have submitted if they would have let me play. :o(
I find that in scrapping I am no different than real life...I'm afraid to use color! This was a real challenge for me, but I like what I came up with. This was the "On The House" challenge at A5D and the kit came from Camila Designs called Colorful Garden. Other credits go to: Gunhild Storeide - lace, drehi - wordart, Lori Barnhurst - Instantly Worn OverLay
This is for A5D's "With a Twist" challenge. Credits go to: Kristen Rice - Template, Lily Designs - Cute as a Button, JillDZines - Acrylic Bracket, Melanie Digiscrap ch - old photo overlay and Hilleke - WordArt
So see, I'm coming along, huh?

The Love Generation
I stopped by Candee's Blog (Mermaid's Haven (http://mermaidshaven.blogspot.com/) ) to grab a freebie. But I wound up grabbing more than that...I read about the tough times she and her family had gone through and how with love and kindness they made it through. I watched this video and realized how very honest and truly blessed I am. I also got inspired to help where I can. I hope you get inspired too. The worst that can happen is that the world will become a little better of a place to be. :o)

Sissy 'friendship' poems ...nagh!!
Are you getting tired of those sissy 'friendship' poems that always sound good, but never actually come close to reality? Well, here is a series of promises that actually speak of true friendship. You will see no cutesy little smiley faces here - Just the stone cold truth of our friendship:
1. When you are sad -- I will help you get drunk and plot revenge against the sorry bastard who made you sad.
2. When you are blue -- I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
3. When you smile -- I will know you are plotting something that I must be involved in.
4. When you are scared -- I will rag on you about it every chance I get.
5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining.
6. When you are confused -- I will use little words.
7. When you are sick -- Stay the hell away from me until you are well . Again, I don't want whatever you have.
8. When you fall ---- I will point and laugh at your clumsy ass.
9. This is my oath.... I pledge it to the end. 'Why?' you may ask; 'because you are my friend'. Friendship is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it, But only you can feel the true warmth.

Shopping for Some Digi Stuff
I am still a digiscrap freebie addict but lately I've been a digiscrap shopaholic as well. I've been tearing up the information super-highway lately. Take a look at some of the gorgeous stuff I bought:
The first kit is by Glam Fairy Designs it's called A Merry Go Round. I got it at scrapmalin.com. The next one is by Stephanie from digital-crea.fr. It's called Key West. I also got Au pays des Reves (translated to English: In the land of dreams) from scrapmalin.com and Atoll from digital-crea.fr both by Line's Designs. I aslo got some really sweet word art by Bethany over at scraporchard.com along with Grandma's Lap by Shauna of PPD. Oh, and the cutest "Ransom Note" alpha by Gina Marie Huff and a very magical kit by Lori Davison called "Faerily Moonlit". I got it from Scrapbookgraphic.com.
I've just been a shopping fool. Ask me if I've scrapped the first thing! LOL I'm too busy grabbing up all these pretty kits to scrap anything!! ROFL

I've been tagged!
Andrea tagged me. Just my luck! Only 2 people have ever been to my blog and one of them does THIS to me! Hee, hee!
Now, on with the really hard part. I'm new to this digi-world and I don't think any of my real friends even have blogs. So, I guess I'm going to have to resort to tagging those wonderful ladies who got me hooked on digital scrapbooking in the first place (it is their fault I EVEN have a blog!)... SORRY!!
Here are the rules:
Here are my facts:
1. I stay up till 3:30 a.m. most weekends digi scrapping
2. I can't plunge a toilet
3. I LOVE snorkeling
4. I'm a Howard Stern junkie
5. I once ate discarded leftovers intended for a dog
6. I have the craziest dogs on the planet
7. I like cold spaghetti
People I'm tagging:
Pam - Digitreats
Shauna - Pinapple Plantation
Meg - Flergalicious
Angie - Ikea Goddess
Bethany - Elegant Wordart
Bonnie - Silver Rocket Scraps
Norma - Swheat Creations

HELP!!!
Seriously, I am going to have to buy another hard drive. I just got an e-mail from Shauna at ScrapOrchard. They have had a contest going on for the past 4 weeks and all the entries have been given away as "freebees". I downloaded so many great kits and templates it ain't funny. So, anyway, now she is hinting around that the Orchard Designers are teaming up with the Sunshine Girls (& a Guy) and that they are going to put out a new summer collaboration kit. Let me tell you, this kit is going to be SO not small! I'M GONNA NEED A NEW HARD DRIVE!! SOMEONE STOP ME BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!! :o)

Naked Mole-Rat
A Soccer Style Weekend, in Hampton, PA
Well, we've survived another L O N G weekend! Man, I need to take some time off to relax.
Off to a late start, our travels didn't begin till close to 8:00 p.m. Friday night. Our first stop was at ... (can you guess?) Cracker Barrel. Tommy's favorite joint. We thought they closed at 10:00 p.m. so Tommy drove crazy fast to get there in time to eat. We pulled up to the door at precicesly 9:56 p.m. Thinking that we would be turned away but always optimistic, I headed inside to get a table. And guess what...they don't close till 11:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday nights! YIPPEE!! We had an entire hour, how awesome is that? The only down part was they were all out of meatloaf (Tom's favorite). He got the country fried steak instead. Mmm, Mm! That Cracker Barrel can cook! I had pot roast and Kelsey had pancakes.
After our gorging, we continued the second phase of our journey. We arrived at the hotel near midnight. Then it was off to bed!
Kelsey's Team, the Swarm, played very well at the tournament. There were a total of four games. They were evenly matched with their opponents and played great games. In the end the Swarm came out 2 and 2. Here are a couple of highlights:
Josie & Maddog: "Puttin' it back into play"
and
Kelsey: "Using her head" Scoring the game winning goal!

I live a charmed life. I've been blessed with the world's greatest husband. He is so thoughtful and easy going. Funny and ever affectionate and as a bonus he loves vacationing! YAY!! How did I get so lucky?
I found this cute "Places I've been map" on TripAdvisor.com. It turns out that we are quite the traveling family. We've been to more than 17 different locations (and some of them we've been to multiple times)!

So, this is what it's like...
Wow, can you believe it I have my very own blog. Thanks blogger for making it so easy.
I suppose I haven't created one up until now because I never have anything to say. Today is no different. I still have nothing to say but now I can say nothing right here on my very own blog. How fun is this!
